 Vall d’Albaida is the municipality  where the house is situated. It’s a historical region in the Valencian Community. It has Mediterranean weather. It’s made up by 34 municipies. It has got 85.000 inhabitants, 33.000 of them in the region of Ontinyent, the capital city of the region.

 It’s one of the most industrialized regions in the Valencian Community, with an important textile tradition, even though agricultural activities are still important. Servicies sector is increasing too.

 Communications. There is a big and important road net in the region. If you are coming from the north, you have the CV-40 motorway, that begins in the N-340 and goes through Agullent and Benissoda.

 There is a train too between Valencia-Alcoy, with a stop in Ontinyent. There is a regular bus line Valencia-Villena that goes through almost all of the towns of the region.

 If you like mountains or climbing, there are places as “els Barrancs del Pou Clar d’Ontinyent. You can visit some caves, find an Iberian town, have a walk through old roman streets, visit castles or just enjoy the environment with a nice walk.

 There are some museums like Museo Casa José Segrelles, Museo internacional de titelles d’Albaida and Museo arqueológico de la Vall d’Albaida.

 Vall d’Albaida is surrounded by a mountain range, a perfect place to do sport.
